It’s safe to say that most Americans are familiar with artist Shepard Fairey’s iconic Barack Obama “Hope” poster:

Over at Obamicon.Me, you can create your own riffs on the famous piece by uploading photos and entering your own caption.
Here are two of my favorites:

Legacy Brewing Co. has an Imperial IPA called – get this – Hoptimus Prime!
No, really.
Here’s a pic from the Legacy Brewing Co. webpage:

It’s tough to make out, but the green figure on the label (Hoptimus Prime, presumably, striking a heroic pose) is muscular, roughly humanoid, and appropriately, made entirely out of hops.

Here’s the poster:

And here’s part of the same image, brightened up a bit using Photoshop (courtesy of the guys at tformers.com):

Interesting.
My guess is the face belongs to the character “The Fallen,” and his face just happens to look a lot like the Decepticon symbol:

Very Egyptian, pharoah-like, wouldn’t you say?
Michael Bay and company shot scenes at the pyramids in Egypt. I hope this doesn’t turn out to be one of those “The-Transformers-played-a-role-in-the-development-of-ancient-human-civilizations” things, like Alien Vs. Predator.
