Just got through reading Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith, author of Pride And Prejudice And Zombies; I’ll try to post a review of the book some time soon.

As if a vampire hunting Abe Lincoln wasn’t enough, our 16th President once again receives the superheroic treatment in Time Lincoln, a one-shot comic book by Fred Perry!

Here’s the description from the Antarctic Press website:

What happens when the Great Emancipator is suddenly freed from the bonds of time to right wrongs throughout history? On the night of his assassination, Abraham Lincoln’s life is threatened not by an angry actor, but by Void Stalin, the man who is literally the greatest villain of all time! Iron Man 2 Trailer 2

Here’s the second official trailer for this summer’s highly anticipated Iron Man 2:

Whiplash and War Machine both look great.

I especially like the shot of Mickey Rourke as Whiplash shown from Tony Stark’s POV under the flipped race car.

The portable Iron Man armor at the end of the trailer is an awesome money shot that will definitely go a long way towards getting people in seats May 7th when the sequel, Iron Man 2, makes its debut.

Excellent trailer.

Much like the trailers which preceded the first Iron Man’s release in 2008, this one has me genuinely excited about the sequel’s prospects.

Here’s hoping Favreau and co. are able to pull this off.

F.I.S.H. By Maimalai Studios

My friends and I went to WonderCon this year, and wandering through the Artists’ Alley, I happened upon this nifty little piece:

I love the chubby, little monkey, his eyes and his gleeful expression, and the banana-picking robot who’s visibly annoyed by all of this.

Well, I finally got around to checking out the website URL scribbled on the back of the artwork. It turns out it’s the cover art for a comic book called F.I.S.H. by P. Jeep Naarkom and illustrated by Paeng Thitaya:

Apparently, F.I.S.H. stands for Furtive Intelligent System of Havoc and tells the story of a robot lost in the jungle with no clue as to its purpose or identity.
