A new version of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is set for release on Blu-ray April 16th in Japan. The Complete edition (essentially a Director’s Cut) will contain a full half hour of additional material as well as some re-worked scenes. No word yet on a release date here in the states.

Amazingly, it seems this newest version of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children containseven more over-the-top, stylized action sequences than the original release which was already jam-packed with inventively choreographed battles and thrilling chases.
Wolf Daddy is an award-winning South Korean “anime” directed by Chang Hyung-yun. Heart-warming and funny, this cute, 10-minute animated short tells the story of a wolf novelist whose life is turned upside down by the unexpected arrival of a six-year-old girl named Young Hee.
The film won the 2005 Korean Animation Award, the Tokyo International Anime Fair Award, as well as the 11th Annual Hiroshima Animation Festival Award.

There’s a trailer up for this summer’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated feature film. The movie serves as a big-screen introduction to the upcoming CGI Star Wars TV Series set to premiere on Cartoon Network later this year. Events depicted in the film and series will take place chronologically between the last two Star Wars films, Episodes II and III.
