The next installment in Nintendo’s popular Mario Kart video game franchise, Mario Kart Wii, is scheduled to arrive Spring 2008 for the Nintendo Wii and will come packaged with the Wii Wheel, a steering wheel-shaped accessory that like the Wii Zapper before it houses the Wii Remote and allows players to steer their karts as if they were actually behind the wheel!

I don’t own a Nintendo Wii, and likely never will now that my hardcore video gaming days are well behind me.  Still, it makes me happy to see nifty little gadgets like the Wheel Wii coming out.
