Agreed. The collection is indeed crazy. If by "crazy," you mean all sorts of awesome!

I've only watched the first 2 Discs, but so far I'm enjoying it immensely. Prime finally got around to saying, "Autobots, Transform and roll out!" in the last episode I watched...

There are the occasional moments when you'll go, "What the...! Not what I remembered..."

For instance, in the very first three-parter, Prime tells his fellow Autobots before setting out by himself, "If I'm not back in 5 minutes, come get me..." which made me laugh when I heard it.

Aside from animation glitches (mostly color checking gaffes that result in multiple Starscreams in certain shots, that sort of thing) and some really laughable techno-babble (Dr. Arkeville's highly unstable Exponential Generator), the biggest problem would be this: the original series just isn't as exciting as it used to be when we were kids.

You may be tempted to fast forward at times, (usually when Spike's around) but watching the birth of the Dinobots, hearing Megatron and Starscream bicker - good times.

That collection is crazy! Does the cartoon hold up or will I ruin my fond memories by rewatching?
