A coworker recently went on a trip to China and returned with photos of her visit to the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre in Sichuan (if that sounds at all familiar to you, it might be because I mentioned it way back in my very first post) where she got to take pictures with a baby panda sitting on her lap.
Guess how much it costs to take pictures with a baby panda sitting on your lap.
$200 USD for 3 minutes.
No, really.
$200.
3 minutes.
(Neil Gaiman - the lucky bugger – got to do it for free!)
Still, I think if I ever do manage to get to Sichuan in this lifetime, I’m going to have to fork over the 200 bucks; after all, it has been a lifelong dream of mine to have my picture taken with a baby panda sitting on my lap.
You have to have goals in life, you know?
