I like the idea of having these two uber popular Star Wars characters making guest appearances, and personally I don&#039;t understand why some fans are against it.  

The Tekken games had Japanese manga character Gon as a playable character way back when, Kingdom Hearts is an insanely popular, odd mash up featuring Final Fantasy and Disney properties, and most recently the latest entry in the Smash Bros. series of games by Nintendo features Solid Snake from Konami&#039;s Metal Gear franchise.

Besides, it&#039;s not like Namco hasn&#039;t done it before.  I mean, Spawn&#039;s a fairly odd choice and not at all the sort of character one expects to see duking it out in a fighting game.</description>
