A friend sent me a link awhile back to an article found on thecoolhunter.net about a series of fun and creative wall displays being used to promote the release of the Nintendo Wii in Italy.
Featuring popular 8-bit video game characters from the 80s, the Nintendo Entertainment System-era of gaming, (Donkey Kong, Mario, and Link are pictured above) the displays are made up of brightly colored sticky notes with the words “Wii’ll not forget” printed on the back along with a description of the Virtual Console, a neat online service that enables nostalgic Wii owners to play old-school games originally released on earlier systems like the NES, Super NES, and Nintendo 64.
