Pure genius.
Someone I know gave a copy of The Bacon Cookbook to someone I don’t know for Christmas, and that’s how I first heard about it.
I am insanely jealous.
The cookbook, shown above, has since skyrocketed to the top of my list of Things I Must Have.

Happy holidays, everyone!
So I just got back from watching I Am Legend in the theater with a few of my friends, and it saddens me to report the movie was a real letdown.
The most recent trailer did a bangup job of making me want to see the movie, (if you haven’t seen it already, here’s a link to the second trailer) and having just read the novel by Richard Matheson over the summer, I had high hopes that the movie would be faithful to the source material while updating and even improving upon parts of the original novel written way back in 1954, parts that were, you know, “not-so-legend.”
(…he’s got a dog.)
If you have any desire to see this movie and haven’t seen it yet, go see it while it’s still in the theaters. It’s a terrific film. I loved it.
And really, how often do you catch me saying stuff like that?
American Gangster gets a 5, my highest recommendation.
I’ll post a more in-depth review some time down the line.
Well, it’s official – Capcom has unveiled a trailer for Street Fighter 4. Looks pretty snazzy. What do you think?

The background details are pretty impressive, but I’m not crazy about how Ryu looks in this pic. It’s almost too realistic, if that’s possible.
I’d rather have the cartoony, anime look. Something like this:
Still, I suppose the screenshot above shows a significant improvement over Capcom’s last foray into 3D – Street Fighter EX.
Big difference.
Oh, well. I’ll reserve judgment on the game’s look until we finally see some gameplay footage online.
