Ah, Candy Corn.

I love Candy Corn. I can’t get enough of them. I bought a one-pound bag the other week and ate the entire thing in one day. (Like a fool, I left the open bag on my desk.)
Tomorrow is National Candy Corn Day.
Seriously.
You can read all about Candy Corn, and a little about the holiday itself, on the National Confectioners Association site, candyusa.org here.
I wasn’t aware of this, but apparently Candy Corn is available year round, not just before Halloween. I only ever look for the stuff right around Halloween, which is sort of a good thing given my complete and utter lack of control around those little yellow, orange, and white-tipped kernels of corn syrupy goodness.
Candy Corn.
Any time I want it?
Now THAT’s scary.

Too cute.
I haven’t seen the movie, and truthfully, I don’t intend to, but if I do, I hope these three figure prominently.
So I like cute stuff. Is that such a crime?

A friend of mine recently got a gym membership. She asked me for some advice, so I told her what I’ve always told every one of my female clients – incorporate resistance training into your regular workout regimen.
“Don’t worry,” I told her, “You’re not going to get big.”

A coworker recently went on a trip to China and returned with photos of her visit to the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre in Sichuan (if that sounds at all familiar to you, it might be because I mentioned it way back in my very first post) where she got to take pictures with a baby panda sitting on her lap.
Guess how much it costs to take pictures with a baby panda sitting on your lap.
