Beowulf (The Movie)
September 17th, 2007I’m really looking forward to the big screen adaptation of Beowulf coming out this fall.

I’m really looking forward to the big screen adaptation of Beowulf coming out this fall.
The Island Life section of today’s edition of The Honolulu Advertiser has an article about Patricia Wood and about Lottery, her first novel, published this summer and already in its second printing.
Yesterday, I overheard one of the personal trainers at the gym I frequent commenting on the lack of available bench space to her client. To which her client replied, “You know, it is a little crowded today.”
“That’s because it’s National Chest Day, Hon.”
Cartoon Network has a brand new Transformers cartoon debuting next spring titled, simply, Transformers: Animated.
As you can see, the Transformers have undergone a bit of a redesign.
I saw Balls of Fury a few nights ago, and came away from the experience thoroughly satisfied.
I’m not going to write a full review, (although I am tempted to do so, if only because of the mostly negative comments the nation’s film critics have seen fit to bestow upon the movie; rottentomatoes.com has Balls of Fury at a 26% overall rating based on 73 negative reviews out of 98 total reviews – ouch!) but I will say this: if you enjoyed watching the trailer and laughed out loud at all the funny bits contained therein, then you should go see Balls of Fury.
